MD Teen Safe Driving Coalition

About Us
The Maryland Teen Safe Driving Coalition is a group of professionals in traffic safety, medicine and injury prevention, education, law enforcement, as well as parents and teens, with particular interest in teen driving education and reducing teen mortality due to motor vehicle crashes.
Mission
Motor vehicle crashes are the No. 1 cause of death for Maryland teens. More than 15 crashes involving drivers ages 15 to 20 occur each day nationwide. The Maryland Teen Safe Driving Coalition wants to change these staggering statistics. MTSDC works as a collaborative group toward creating safer roadways for teens using the proven lifesaving principles of Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL).
